An art exhibition

An historical art exhibition held on January 10 at Minneapolis art museum. The main theme of that exhibition was to present some ancient piece of art work to art history loving people.There is no confusion that historical evidence attracted us very much and if it is very old one then it get more importance. All those items were very unique. Some of them are hundreds year old. All these items gives some idea about the lifestyle of that time.


The exhibition starts from 10 am and continued till 9 pm. That was a nice gathering of art loving people.There was a discussion corner where people can express their opinion about the exhibition. A French artist expressed his opinion about abot a piece of clothes,"When I first saw it it seems like a simple souvenir to me, my confusion broke when our guide showed us the piece of clothes and told its age. It was about hundred years old. That makes me curious." There was a beautiful wallet that was really attractive. The wallet came from Mongolia. Its beautiful art work proves that once it was used by wealthy people.There was another small sculpture of a moving person. It appears as a symbol of a hurry person who is very busy with his activities. May be it was sign of hardworking people. There was a small black sculpture of a women. The way she standing is similar to pray or wish or some other religious activity. From this sculpture we make a guess that this sculpture may be come from Indian subcontinent. There was a beautiful souvenirs of a boat without sail that indicate the way of transportation in the early rural life. May be it indicates that rural civilization. The most important thing is coin. Couple of coins indicates the development of human civilization and their economic development. Not only these few items over there. There was a beautiful musk that shows the efficiency of art work of earliest generation people.A ruler also caught peoples attention. It seems not too old to me. If it is too old or more than Hundred years of age , we must have to appreciate this invention. We may think a ruler is very simple thing so why we give much credit for it? Reason is ruler is the milestone of measuring . If it not invented on that time we never get such smooth way of measuring today.There are also some evidence that gives us idea about social life.A souvenir of a house displayed. We get a idea of the house look like.We found a small jar that may be used for keeping water . That also indicate social life. All these items gives a idea about the lifestyle of early time.Although it was not a lifestyle of any specific region that helps to find our origin.


Each civilization has there own culture and way of life. Although it is history now but once it was the best creation the age. As time passed we become familiar with modern invention the old one remains in our memory. We should always remember that present never exist without past and these type of exhibition will help people to find his root.
